I'm baccckkkk....

Not that I've gone very far. I just haven't been in a blogging kind of mood. But I'm a bit bored this evening, and have lots of pics to post.

What have I been up to? Did a whole bunch of Christmas knitting, recieved some lovely yarn and knitting books for Christmas. Went to Cuba. Wish I was still there. Am very tanned and peeling now.

So what have I knitted? These were all Christmas presents.


Hat & Mitts Set
Present for the BF's grandmother
Yarn: Bernat Big Value
Basic mitt pattern. Scarf is the Farrow Rib Scarf from the Little Box of Scarves.


Present for Dad.
He likes BIG hats. It's a basic hat, knit in Araucania Nature wool on 4mm needles. The gloves are the Unisex gloves from One Skein. This was my first attempt at gloves, and I enjoyed making them.


Hats for cousin & aunt.
Blue = Black Sea. Burgundy = Odessa. Both from Grumperina but with the beads left out. I used Rowan Classic Cashsoft DK for both of them. Love that yarn.

My BF's mother's cat is staying here and my cat is harassing him. Must go break up a cat fight. I'll post again soon. Promise.
