Today's lesson - Do not go to Lettuce Knit with BF the day after he actually saw how much sock yarn is in the closet. And if you do - do not let him hear that you just spent $95 on more sock yarn. He just won't get it.
It had to be done. It's Sweet Georgia Superwash sock. It might not be available again for a year. It's lovely. Colours from left to right are Rusted, River and Coal Harbour. I want some more.
Couple of finished things:
Zokini Socks*
Started: January 28
Completed: February 17
Yarn: Lanett Superwash
Needles: 2.5mm
Pattern: Pepperknits
Finicky pattern, but I like them.
Odessa 2
Started: February 12
Completed: February 13
Yarn: Rowan Cashsoft DK
Needles: 3.5 & 4mm
Pattern: Magknits
See earlier post about the frustrations with this yarn. I've been wearing it constantly though, even though it makes my hair sticks out strangely.
* The actual pattern is Zokni, not zokini. I kept reading the name wrong and convinced myself that the actual name is Zokini. Apologies to the designer.
